Lila is 4 months old today!!! I usually start these monthly posts by saying "I can't believe how old she is". This month I can't believe she is only 4 months. It feels like she has been around forever. She is getting so big and so smart. Here are her stats:
- 14 lbs 6 oz
- 26 inches long (still 95th %)
- rolling over (stomach to back. Still working back to stomach)
- she eats in 10 min!!
- she sleeps a 5-6 hour stretch at night
- she follows everything now with her eyes
- she loves to "stand" in our laps
- she is the most precious baby ever!!!

Here are some others in the photo shoot! I love the one where she grabbed the 4 :)
She LOVES her exersaucer!
So... Josh and I are on a mission to help this little babe get into a routine. I will update you soon and let you know how that's going :) She also wants us to start rice cereal before we come back for our 6 month check up! So many new things to work on. I think we will try to master the sleeping first and then start the food later.

food is a hassle! wait as long as you can for it - i didn't start until 7 months - it was VERY stressful! they all say to start before 4months, but only breastmilk never hurt anyone....
Oh I can't wait to see that little four month old in person!!! I know everyone has their own opinions, but I say don't stress yourself out too much over the schedule and food. You will get there eventually and then you'll look back and wonder what the rush was. :)
Such cute pictures! I love al. The 4 month pics:-). Why rock the boat with the sleeping!!!?? You are such a great mom and BTW both my kids loved to eat rice cereal from the start, at 4 monthsso all kids are different. See ya soon!
Oh! I love my Lila! Bring her back to see me!!!!!!! Since everyone's giving their opinions... :) I tried to give AM rice cereal at 4 months, but she didn't want it until 6---so don't stress on that one. No biggie. But I will say that once I got some sort of schedule down on napping, I really liked it. Gave me some sense of normalcy! ;)
Rolling over??? Wow what a go getter! My little Maddox is almost 6 mo and he's still not rolling over:( He's pretty lazy though! haha! She's precious Kacey!
I am super jealous that you are moving back to Waco. All our family is so far away in Waco. Lila is adorable. I am looking forward to starting Brooklyn on rice cereal in a few weeks. I wish you the best of luck. I hear it is a messy process.
She is precious Kacey! I am so glad that she is healthy and that both of you are happy. We miss you at ROE, but I am so glad you are able to stay home. Soak up every moment. Go with what works for you, and let Lila be your guide, but routine is nice once you figure out one that fits you. I will be praying for you and Josh as you feel your way through. Come see us before school is out!
