You're My Best Friend!

A- Awesome L- Love her! L- Like a sister Y- You are so cool:)

As of late, there is no one in the world that Lila loves more than her cousin Ally. She mentions her name "Aeeeey"? about once every 5 minutes!

Any chair Ally has sat in, bowl she has used or toy she has ever played with is "Aeeey's".

Anything Ally does...Lila does (or tries to) soon after.

She is the funniest friend we know:)

Thanks for being such a great cousin! I love you Ally and I am so excited to watch you and Lila grow up together!!

The great outdoors

This week Lila has been loving the great outdoors. She has been going to the back door and saying "go" for a while now. It wasn't until recently that she learned she could open the door and go all by herself. Scary!! Now we just have to make sure mommy locks the door until we are both ready to go out:)

She really likes to drive in her car. The honking horn drives Cooper mad, so we spend hours honking and laughing as Cooper goes crazy.

She thinks it's hysterical to shoot baskets and have Mommy cheer when she makes them. I was giving her the panther free throw stance and then high kick after she made them when I turned and saw our neighbors out cooking dinner:) I'm sure they got a kick out of this old cheerleader has been!

Yesterday while I did dishes Lila Lew just sat and rocked drinking her milk! I had to sneak out to get a picture. Precious big girl.

The independence and "do it myself" is in full effect around here. Good thing she's so stinkin' cute!

Little St. Patrick

Happy St Patrick's Day to you!! I don't know where the leprechaun with the pot O gold is, I don't really care for corned beef, and Lila's not allowed green beer, BUT we like to wear green!

This picture was taken right after I found Lila putting eye shadow on the dog! A really fun game we have started playing:) After playing at home all morning we got to go have lunch with some of our favorite friends at playgroup!

Sweet little green kiddos! Enjoy your St. Patty's day! Top of the mornin' to you all;)

We Survived!

Well after a VERY early start and lots of prayers, I am glad to report that getting tubes wasn't so bad at all! Lila did a great job and is already back to her normal playful self. We went to Fish Pond Surgery Clinic at 6:00 this morning! Thankfully the new environment and fun toys distracted little miss from the fact that we skipped breakfast...for a while. Once they called us back and we had met all the Doctors, the waiting started. She kept asking "ere da bottle"? Thankfully at her breaking point of being patient, and mine, she was taken back with the nurse. Not my favorite moment, but a mere 8 minutes later they came to get us to see her!

Sweet sleepy girl playin' in her jammies:)
We got to go back as she was waking up. She was a little scared and confused, but the long awaited bottle made everything better!

About 30 minutes later we got to go home. This girl is acting like nothing happened at all!

Surgery? What surgery?

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers! We are so relieved this is behind us and just hope they make a big difference in her feeling good.

Tubes

I need some prayers for my sweet little Lila. She is going in tomorrow morning to get tubes put in her ears. I know that this is a short and sweet little procedure that these doctors preform every day, but it still surgery! They will be putting her under and this momma isn't thrilled about that. Please pray that the Dr. will be careful and alert, that Lila won't react to the meds and will recover quickly, that she will be alright not eating anything after dinner tonight, and that this will help keep her from getting so sick all the time. Because I can't do a post without pictures, I hope this diagram will enlighten you:)
Thanks!

Under the Superman Sea!

What do you do when your 3 year old wants a character themed party?
You give it to them.

What do you do when your 3 year olds are boy/girl twins and want two different characters?
You throw a Superman/Little Mermaid birthday party of course!

My little nephew and niece turned 3 last weekend in Andrews. Josh's sister Roxann threw them a great combo party!

Presley and Blaine SO Excited to see their party!

Lila Lew ready to P...ar...ty!

With big sister Mia. Thank goodness both characters have primary colors! The place looked so cute. The drinks were blue punch with fish swimming in it and green kryptonite.

Yummy cakes!

Happy party goers!

The St.Clair family. (Can't believe those babies are 3)!

Lila was on the baby watchin' clean up crew:)

The next day the girls all wore their matching shoes Cha Cha got them in Vegas!

Love matchy matchy outfits!

Lila had SO much fun playing with her cousins. So did I!! She really thought she was a big kid all weekend. Love those St.Clairs:)

Little Snow Bear Cub!

Last week we had the most beautiful snow in Waco! Everything was so clean and peaceful looking. The whole town closed down. It even made the atmosphere at our house so calm and serene (not the usual:). Lila's mother's day out was canceled early so we raced home to enjoy the snow! Thank goodness I had bought this warm bear outfit to look at Christmas lights in December.

At first Lila wasn't too sure about the cold temps or the white ground?

Once she felt some snowflakes tickling her face, she was intrigued.

When Cooper decided this was REALLY FUN, she was on board!!!

This little bear LOVED the snow and became really good at walking in it. Watch out winter Olympics 2030!!
