Long lost G day!

Ever since we found out we were pregnant, my Mommy skills have been in survival mode only.  We were all lucky to be fed and dressed in clean clothes.  My sweet 3 year old asked ever so nicely, "when are we going to go do stuff again?  I really like it when we go to the museum or the zoo.  Remember when we used to have letter days?"  I realized I wasn't the only one who had been feeling a little out of sorts lately!  She will even pray that Mommy will feel better soon.  God bless her!  Not that we had special days every day, but I did try at least once a month to plan a day with activities just for them. I decided to gear up and have another letter day.  Hmm, where did we leave off, G!  "G" day was so much fun.

When the girls woke up we ate our breakfast out of a Green bowl and watched Go Diego Go.  Then we went outside to Get some Grass for our art project.

We cut out and Glued our Grass on the Gs.  Then we added some Glitter.

C wasn't really interested in dirtying up her letters, but she did a great job with the glue.  Even used it as chap stick for a while.  That's one way to keep em quiet ;)

Then we loaded up for a field trip.  We had to go see GP.  An added bonus was Honey was home from work that day for a school holiday, so we included our Grandma!  We took Goofy pictures in Glasses.  Then we played duck duck Goose and Red light Green light.  I love how much my parents love and play with my kiddos!

When we left there I decided we needed to go to the GAP and Get some Gear (that was 40% off) now that it is was cooler.  When we got home I copied an idea I saw on Pinterest.  I drew all the letters we had learned so far together and she painted over them with water.  SO easy and they loved it!

Since I hadn't really planned this until lying in bed the night before, for lunch we ate Goldfish, Grapes, Green beans and Good hotdogs ;)

After naps we did some H activities.  I guess I was tired of snapping pictures, because there aren't any of this!  We made a House out of a paper plate and drew our Happy family inside.  We cut out a big Heart and filled it with things that start with HHand print, Hat, Hippo, Hog, Hill, Hot sun, Happy face, mostly things we could draw.  We played Hungry Hungry Hippo and Hide and Seek.  Then we went and got Happy meals and drove to watch Ryan play football.  Didn't start with H, but we had fun anyways :)

As always, when I have something fun planned out for us to do, the day goes so quick and smoothly.  Maybe I'll try to do anther one soon instead of waiting another 4 months.  Luckily Lila will remind me if I forget :)

FInn's Baptism

Last month we went down to San Antonio to play with our God children.  That sounds so weird, but yes, we have TWO God children.  Marc and Kelly had precious Finn in June and asked us to be his God parents too!  We love them so much and were so honored to be part of this special time.  Saturday night we went and played at their house with Olivia, Finn and Kelly's nieces.  The girls had so much fun running around together.

Caroline sharing her bubbles with Amina.

Sunday morning we headed to the church for the baptism.  Kelly and I adorned matching dresses for the occasion.  Ha!  Sweet Finn did so good!

All that Lila likes more than having one little sister to be in charge of is having TWO!  The girls love the Williams kiddos and are so happy that we are in each others lives.

Football Fun!

Way back in September we went to Lubbock for the first Tech home game.  We love some red and black and if Josh could have his way, we would be at all the home games :)  The girls and I love to go see all the family we have there too. Game day gear!

Playing outside with Nana.

Cha Cha's beauty shop.  I love that she always does their nails.  My Nana growing up always had the most beautiful red fingernails and would paint ours when we came to visit.  I love that Lila will have the same memories with her grandma.

Teaching the kiddies some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  I think he may be outnumbered.

Wreck em Tech!

Lila really wanted to go to the game, so we decided we should take her.  It was SO hot, but we had fun.  After walking all around Raider Gate, seeing the cheerleaders, meeting Raider Red and getting her cotton candy, she decided she was ready to go home and play after about 10 min of the game.  Preggo Mommy wasn't feeling so great either, so we left :)

A little timid to get any closer to the horse!

The next afternoon we had some live entertainment in the back yard.  The girls had many dance numbers and Blaine even preformed a magic show :)

The grand finale...Caroline found a secret passage way in and out of the house.

Ta daa!!!

"Bump Alert"

I am SO behind on blogging.  I have over a month of posts to work on, but.... here's why!

Yes, we will be welcoming our third little Warren baby in April!  I'm about 14 weeks and so excited.  This pregnancy has been WAY different than the first two.  I, of course, think that means it's a boy, but it could just be that I am older, have two kids running around or that my body has physically already had two.  Whatever the reason, I have felt super sick.  I'll spare you the details, but all the symptoms I usually start to feel toward the end, are already here!  What?!  I'm sure that it's no different than lots of women, but I just felt great with the girls.  I have new found sympathy for any pregnant person who says they feel bad.  Get out the violins, right?  Thankfully I am feeling so much better now and am back to life as we know it.  We feel so blessed to add to our family!!  We are anxiously awaiting the appt when we find out the sex, but until then life with these two is keeping us busy :)
