Warren Family Beach Trip!

 What could make a babe this excited?.....

Road trip to the beach of course!! Last month we went with Josh's family down to North Padre/Corpus/Port Aransas beach.  This is what Lila was doing minutes after we got there :)

Caroline loved the sand too!

 The best part for Lila was getting to spend so much time with her  Texas Tech cousins, as she calls them.  Love these St.Clairs!

Playing in the water.  (Tropical storm Don missed us, but brought some big waves to play on.  Sadly, it also brought tiny sea lice. Yuck!  Basically they are itzy bitzy jellyfish?  They were gone after a few hours, thankfully)!

 Cha Cha brought lots of great crafts to do in the condo at night.  Clearly, it was a hit.  Look at the concentration.

Aunt Rox getting some lovin' time with Caroline.  They got to watch a church service on the beach.  So cool!

Happy Birthday Dad!

 Back in July, (wow!  I am so behind), we celebrated my Dad's 61st birthday.  I had heard about "the bomb" cake that he loved from my friend Wendi and had to make it for him.  After some Pei Wei, we sang happy Birthday and tore into the dessert.  It was SO good!

 For his present this year, we all went in together and got him a special surprise.  It was big enough that it required a sort of "hunt" to go find it :)

Dad, we love you so much and are so glad that we live here in Waco and get to have these awesome nights with you.  Thank you for being such an amazing dad, GP, father in law and friend.  Couldn't imagine life without you.  Happy Rowing :) Happy birthday!!!

Caroline is 8 months!!

 Caroline is 8 months old!  I know it is a broken record, but I can't believe how quickly this little baby is growing up!!  She is SO fun right now.  If it weren't for my dying curiosity to hear what this funny girl is trying to say, I would want her to stay this age forever!  She is so interactive and happy and yet not mobile and into everything.

No real stats, but she is close to 20 lbs and growing every day.  

She is in 9 mo clothes and on her third haircut...Ha!  

She can sit up really well now and is trying to scoot on her bottom.  

She says Da Da, La La and has said ma ma once or twice:)

Her newest trick is clapping and bouncing when you say "yay". Precious!

She is eating 3 meals a day and nursing 4 times.

If you look closely, you can see her two bottom teeth.  No others yet.

She still loves Lila better than anyone.  My two sick snuggle bugs laying on the couch.

 

 

Being a real life baby doll for the umpteenth time.  Love those thunder thighs :)

She has graduated to bathing with big sister.  They both LOVE it.

 Caroline went to the beach for the first time this month.  She loved the water and rocked her bikini :)

 

 This month we also had Caroline's baby dedication at church.

 Love having Caroline part of this family.  Can't imagine our lives without her!
