Lila Turns Four!

Oh my Lila Lew...You have no idea how much I love you!!!!  I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday.  You came in and changed our lives in the best way possible!  You made us parents.  You made me a mom!!

You humble me more and more every day with your every growing personality.  You are the most thoughtful, sweet, dramatic, emotional, curious girl.  You are the smartest 4 year old I have ever met, mostly because you ask why to everyone you cross paths with. One of my favorite things you say is, "tell me all about that!"  You say it about heaven, the car wash, Christmas, curling our hair, making chicken, etc.  :)

Grumps and Cha Cha were here for your party and actual birthday this year.  You got to open presents with all 4 of your grandparents.

Cheers to the big four year old!

Another awesome phrase you attach to all sorts of things is, "the best ever!"  The best day ever, the best dinner ever, the best night ever, the best movie ever!!!

You are friends with everyone you meet and love everyone in your class at school.  Luckily, I got to come watch you celebrate.  The birthday girls asked for sprinkle donuts and strawberries for her special snack.

You are very into dressing up and pretending to be all things girly.  You like to wear a tu tu over any outfit I choose.  You love to mix and match your socks and accessorize.  You are so excited to meet your baby brother.  You have dubbed him Sweet Louie Lou or Bubba.  I think both need some work :)  You make my days happier and fuller than I ever thought possible!  Happy Birthday my sweet girl.

Strawberry Shortcake Party

Before pregnancy there were three things I swore I wouldn't do again... pregnant:

1. Potty Train a toddler
2. Make another set of baby bedding
3. Throw another birthday party at my house in the month of December

All three of these things have somehow been done are are in the works!!  Oh well :)  I can't seem to help myself.  We threw the girls a joint Strawberry Shortcake party a couple weeks ago.  It was SO fun and super cute.  Aunt Roxann bought the girls the costumes of the characters they are infatuated with.  Meet Cherry Jam and Strawberry Shortcake!

My sister came (because I have been forced asked not to climb on chairs) to hang these tissue paper flowers everywhere so that we could jump on into Berry Bitty City.

Cherry Jam's Stage was the hit of the party.  Lila is in kids Zumba and so she was singing Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry like she was 15!

Strawberry preferred hits like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star :)

My sweet husband took pictures of all the different "rooms" while I finished the food.  We missed a couple things.  Here is Plumb's Dance Studio.  There was a table full of tutus for the dancers to wear.

 Lila's Room was Blueberry's Library

Caroline's room was Raspberry's Boutique

We had some very fancy shoppers :)

The Playroom was Orange's Grocery Store

The kitchen was Lemon's Salon.  With lots of helpers we had painted nails and glitter tattoos.

The dining room was Strawberry's Cafe.

Some special helpers getting the tea sets ready.

No boys were invited except our awesome big cousins! (Probably not the plan for next year.  Lila was very sad the week of that lots of her boy friends wouldn't be there).

These sweet girls were too sweet to bust open the pinata :)  Thankfully we had some strong Smith boys to take over.

The favors had lip gloss, nail polish, necklaces, and some strawberry candy.

We had a blast and watching so many 2 and 4 year old sweeties run around covered in glitter and costumes was hilarious!!  Happy Birthday Party Lila and Caroline!
