Meeting Precious Olivia

This last weekend we traveled south on 35 down to San Antonio to meet my BFF Kelly's baby girl Olivia.  We left Lila happy as a clam with her cousins and were in charge of just one little  baby.  It's amazing how much easier life is without Miss Priss  :)  Thanks Aunt Angie and Marky!

Kelly and Marc asked us to be Olivia's Godparents.  We were so honored and couldn't wait to finally meet her!

Olivia is one month older  than Caroline and is SO precious.  She is the only other baby girl I have met that can rival Caroline with all her hair!

The first trip of many to Anthropologie :)

Kelly meeting Sweet Caroline!

Kelly's sister in law, Kate has a baby girl the same age too! It was so fun having all these babies around all weekend, and even more fun getting away with them for some Mommy time:)

Holding Olivia during her Baptism!

Thank goodness Caroline slept the whole time and didn't try to steal the show!

The Beautiful Williams Family!

We had so much fun and are so glad to be Officially part of Miss Olivia's life!!!

Snow Days

This crazy winter weather has made our days seem R.E.A.L.L.Y.L.O.N.G!!!  I can't imagine if we lived up north! What's a girl to do when you are trapped indoors?? Throw birthday parties of course.  Lila has quite an imagination and her party plans cracked me up.  We threw a party for every member of our family, canine and human:)  Each with their own theme.  Ariel Mermaid to kitty cat.

First you need the proper attire...

Then you need a craft/activity.

Then you need to open presents!  For Daddy it was a pear :)

Then it's time for the big moment...blowing out the candles!

Thank goodness we finally had one day that actually brought enough snow to play in.  She LOVED it!

Getting dressed I quickly realized, we don't have any snowy clothes.  I haven't been skiing since college and I guess my wardrobe has suffered because of it.  Anything we did have must have been loaned out to who knows who at this point?  The best was Josh wearing oven mitts in place of ski gloves!  Such a great Daddy!

Now come on Spring!!

Two Months Old!

Caroline is TWO MONTHS OLD today!!!  We...are...in...love!!!  She just gets chubbier and cuter every day!  She is smiling all the time and is trying to "talk" a little.  Her favorite person in the world is still Lila Lew:)  She eats every three hours, even through the night.  I hope she learns soon how to get/give a little more sleep!  She is still very laid back and goes with the flow.  I take her on Tuesday for her official stats,...but according to Dr. ...Me...she has almost outgrown size one diapers. That means she is 11-12 pounds.  She wears size 0-3 month onesies pretty tightly and can pull off some of her 3-6 month ones.  That means she is really long :)  Voila!  See no need to go in and get checked out (and git those pesky shots)!!

This month she...
had lots of pictures taken for her birth announcement.

Don't forget sweet LEW.

She took her first nap in her crib :)  (Still sleeping in our room at night).

She became the living baby doll Lila has always wanted :)

Can you find the real Caroline??  Creepy and Hilarious right?!

She had her first experience with snow...and hated it.  She much prefers the warm indoors.

This past month has been exhausting and so fun for our little family.  Caroline makes everything so much better!!

Future Cheerleader

Most Monday nights we spend cheering on my nephew Ryan playing basketball at the family center.  Lila has adored this little man since she was a tiny babe and the fact that Ally is there to dance with just put the icing on the cake!  I wish I had video of this little cheerleader, but you can get the feeling from the attitude in this picture :)

  Ryan in action!

Coach of the year, "Marky" as Lila calls him.

We LOVE watching you play Ryan, and can't wait to have our own little dribblers there one day!

quick trip

Last Sunday we made a quick trip down to Austin to see Grumps and Cha Cha.  They live 6 hours away, so whenever they get that close to us, we jump at the chance.  We met them along with Josh's Aunt Connie and Uncle Donnie at one of our favorite places, Matt's El Rancho on Lamar.  It was so worth the hour and a half drive to eat their delicious pork tacos :)

Lila loving the cherries off her ice cream!

I love that we can enjoy the "big city" perks with such a quick trip!
