I love weeks of being HOME!! We haven't had any big events on our calendar this week and It has been fabulous! We just got to participate in our normal weekly stuff and relax this weekend. Isn't it sad when that's not the norm?? Here are some random pics of what Little Miss has been up to.
Swinging pretty much all day in the new swing Santa brought us!! Love me some 70 degree weather in January!
Being very girly with Daddy! She has been really into accessorizing lately. She puts on any jewlery she can find and says "pretty". She also thinks anything with a strap is a purse. She esp. likes Josh's shoe polish kit:) I can't believe how quickly she is growing up and becoming a little girl!

These boots were made for walkin'
Over the Christmas break Lila Lew learned to walk!! She LOVES that she can get around like the big people now, but she is into everything!! I thought she was into it all before, but I had no idea. She can escape to a different room before you can say stop. She is so precious toddling around that I had to share a video. As always, so sorry about my crazy commentary. I wish I could get her to chase me without talking:)

How do you get a baby out of a locked car?
Today I officially won mom of the year!
Lila and I went shopping at HEB for our weekly groceries. She was surprisingly happy considering it was close to lunch time and nap time. When we were done I did what I always do. I put her in the car first then I unloaded the groceries. I hurried over to put the cart up and ran back to the car. Imagine my surprise to find that the doors were all locked. There was Lila, inside the locked car, chewing on the keys!!!
I tried not to panic and reached for my phone. Oh Wait...my purse was already in the car! I checked on my precious one through the window and she thought this was all very amusing. She had dropped the keys and was now playing "Peak-a-boo". Great?
Thankfully Waco has some very nice people who aren't afraid of crazy ladies running up to their car and asking to use their cell phone:)
I called my mom, who called my sister, who called pop a lock and saved the day! Thanks Angie! 30 minutes later when I got to Lila she was a little pink cheeked but no worse for the wear. Thank the Lord it wasn't July! So, lesson learned. New mom mistake # ??? Don't let the baby chew on the keys while you unload groceries:)

Alamo Bowl!
This last weekend Josh and I went south on 35 down to San Antonio to watch Tech play in the Alamo Bowl. My sister, Angie, kept miss Lila all weekend along side her sick hubby and kiddo. Thanks Ang! We had such a great weekend away without baby. We stopped on the way down to shop at the outlets in SanMarcos. That pottery barn kids outlet is my favorite store ever!! I got Lila a kids table for about 1/2 the price!! We shopped until our feet hurt and we were out of money then headed down to our hotel on the River walk.
I haven't been to the river walk since my freshman year of hs choir trip. It surprised me how fun it still is!

Friday night we met my great friend Kelly and her husband Marc for dinner. After we went to this beautiful hotel and sat out on the balcony over looking the river. They still had up all the Christmas lights so it was extra pretty.

Double Trouble
Last week one of my favorite friends from Houston came to visit Waco and I FINALLY got to meet her precious babies! Angela and I taught first grade together for 3 years and enjoyed many recess visits together:)
She has twins Luke and Athena. They were the most quiet, well behaved babies I have ever seen. Not that anything about twins is easy, but what a blessing that these two are such happy babies! I LOVE those sweet chubby cheeks!!
