Bruises, Bumps and Birthdays!

Lila was sick with strep all last week:( She was pretty pitiful and not to much fun to be around. To add to the fever and sore throat, she fell and got her first black eye. She was carrying a toy and happened to fall and hit her eye right on the lash line. I kid you not, about 50 eyelashes fell out all at once! It scared me to death! Now there is a lash-less gap about 4 cm wide on her eye.

This newbie camera pro let the focus go to the nose, but if you look closely at the left eye you can see the hole! I just hope they grow back!!!

Thursday was my birthday. Thankfully she was fever free that day. Not that celebrating with a winey, sick toddler isn't fun, but I was so glad to get out of the house and have a fun night!

My sweet hubby took me to Se Cocina downtown. It was really fun and yummy!

Some old friends and their men came out to celebrate with us.

After dinner we went to Diamondbacks where I had a delicious mocktail and cupcakes! Such a great time! Another year older and sadly none the wiser!

Wonderful Warren Weekend

A few weekends ago, yep, you guessed it, we were back at the lake! This time it was with Josh's family. Since we have been a couple of times already this summer, Lila was all ready to go swimming! (Those crazy looking orange things in her ears are to protect her tubes).

Born with Style

This week Lila has been all about her sunglasses. She wants them on ALL the time! She wants them any time Mommy has hers on. Usually in the car when I can't reach her very well:)

She also needs them while dictating notes.

She thinks it's hilarious when Daddy wears his like this:)

6th Anniversary

Six years ago yesterday, I married my best friend!

We were actually back at the lake where we got married for our anniversary. It was pretty amazing to remember the great time we had at our wedding, all the friends that were there and the unknown future we had ahead of us.

Little did we know that six years later the future would include a move back to Waco, a one of a kind Lila Lew and a second on the way!!! I feel so blessed and lucky to have you Josh:)

Memorial Day

On Memorial day Lila and I went back down to Lake LBJ to celebrate with my family! This precious little one had so much fun with her cousins! Besides looking cute as a button...

She got some big news. Not only will she be a big sister in December, she will also finally get to be a BIG cousin!!!!!

Aunt Cary announced that she is preggo with TWINS!!!!! Lila was so excited to hear the news:)

Of course, she drove the boat with GP.

By the end she even got all the way in here!

All the other big kids were eating watermelon, so she gave it a try!

When we got home she slept for 13 hours! Guess fun times will do that to a girl.

New Camera!

Last weekend I got a new Camera!!! My birthday and anniversary are this month, so it was a combo present. We got the Cannon Rebel XS. I.am.loving.it!!!! Still have so much to learn, but even the auto shots are amazing.

New Clothes!

Lila has a new shirt to wear!

She would not smile and sit straight to see the shirt, so this is the best picture we could get:) Her brother or sister will be here December 21st! I am 11 weeks and feeling pretty terrible. Nothing like what I felt with her. We are so excited and feel so blessed to add to our family! Notice the change in the blog title. Baby Makes 3 (plus 1)!!
