4th of July 2011

 This year (and every year) we spent the 4th at lake LBJ with my family!  I love this tradition and look forward to it all year round. We skied, tubed, tanned, ate watermelon, smoked meat, swam, kayaked, watched movies, and had so much fun!!!  *You might notice sleep isn't on the list.  Sharing a room with sweet Caroline doesn't alot for much sleep :) 

Since we have been at the lake and posted so many other lake rat pics,... I thought I'd just share my clean cut, patriotic, family shots.

All the cousins :)  Here is the list in the order from oldest to youngest; Ryan, Stacey, Ally, Wyatt, Lila, Caroline, Coyt and Crew.  Whew!  That's a lot of cousins.

My favorite thing about the lake is... well...everything, but I especially love spending time and making memories with these crazy people I call family!  (Cheese ball, but it's true ;)

Last year for the twenty something!

 June 24th I celebrated my 29th birthday!  (So, only about a month behind in this post :)  The funny thing about being a mom and having a birthday is,  life still goes on as usual.  Hello 7 am wake up call.  The girls were so excited about giving me my present. (at least Lila was.  Caroline was just excited to be involved).

 I was so excited to get a bicycle helmet..assuming there was a set of wheels to go with it!

 Sounds so dorky, but I have been asking for a bike for a long time.  Josh showed me mine and the trailer for the girls and then wheeled out one he had bought for himself too! So much more fun!! 

I think this shot of Josh in his work clothes is hilarious.  Like a kid so excited to be playing before school :)

After breakfast we had our little playgroup over to our house to play.  Lila was convinced that this was my birthday party.  It was really fun, so I guess it could count!

 Look at these three beauties!  They are all going to be in the same dance class this fall!  How fun!

Twenty something for one more year!

Caroline is 7 months!

 Has it been 7 months already????  I can't believe how big Miss C has gotten this month!  She is so laid back and fun I just can't stand it!  This is for sure my favorite stage with her so far!

 

 She is still a big, sweet, squishy marshmallow.  I assume this is why she isn't rolling over yet.  Just too much to move :) (Really I think she just doesn't care to) She has started sitting up and babbling non stop.  Da Da and La La La (lila) are her favorite things to say, but mostly just squealing and flirting with anyone who looks her direction.

 

She is still nursing great and loves just about all the baby food she has tried.  Breakfast and dinner are now very messy in this house :)  

She sleeps from 7-7 and takes two long and one short nap a day.  When and where they are, depends on big sister and her schedule.  Poor second baby.

Despite this picture, being outside and Lila are her two very favorite things!  She is also really into beards, dogs, earrings and water bottles ;)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this baby. Can't imagine our lives without her sweet smile in it!
