A few weeks ago we had an AWESOME Sunday! To start our day off, Brady boy had his baby dedication. Look at those baby blues! He is such a sweet big boy!
This is one of my very favorite families! I love getting to be here in Waco and be a part of all of these special family moments. Watching a sanctuary full of friends and fellow believers promising to pray for Brady and being willing to hold his parents accountable to raise him in the church is so awesome!
We had some other great friends on stage sharing this day with them :)
Lila got to leave Sunday School and come into "big church" to watch. She thinks she is an alternate member of the Wood family after all.
Later that day the girls and I had the awesome honor of watching Josh get baptized!!! I don't know how many kids get to see their dads do that! Again, really awesome! Josh became a Christian several years ago, but never was baptized. Lately, Lila has been asking some really tough questions about heaven and God. Through some of our discussions Josh felt like he needed to be a better example of what a Christian looks like and does. (Not to mention a strong tug from the Holy Spirit!) We don't believe that being baptized has any magic power, but it is really important to us publicly proclaim our faith in Jesus!!
Josh is a really outspoken, funny guy, but he HATES being up in front of a crowd. I am so proud of him for taking this step.

If only you had a picture of Fuddruckers afterwards:))). I love this day and we were honored to watch Josh get baptized...so AWESOME!!! Great pictures.
