Caroline's Nursery

A couple of weeks ago while Lila was in Lubbock getting spoiled by Grumps and Cha Cha (see shopping trip to Target)

...and spending her time skinny dipping in the back yard:)

I got the chance to sew baby Caroline's bedding.

A close up of the fabric. I found it online. It's Tanya Whelan's aqua rose.

A view of the nursery from the door.

The corner by the window.

Granny bought this canvas for Caroline while we were out shopping at Spice. It was the exact right colors of her room!

The changing table.

I REALLY appreciate Josh's mom keeping Miss Busy Body so I could get all this finished! Even more, she drove her all the way back down to Waco and brought Granny along for a visit! Lila LOVED having all of the attention for a few more days.

Thanks for coming to visit Granny and Cha Cha!!!

Kacey it looks SO good, I can't believe the sewing skilz!! I love the fabric and the polka-dot trim. And your chair looks great in there too, that canvas ties all three colors in so well! Want to hear all about the reunion.

KACEY!!! It is beautiful! The bedding looks so good and I am so impressed with your sewing skilz (as Caryn typed it!) You must be so proud of it. Now comes the time where you can just sit in there and dream about what Sweet Caroline will look like, smell like, be like, etc! Such fun!

Kacey, the skilz never cease to amaze me. (I think CP started a new thing with this new spelling of the word). Love that you did that yourself and made a good use of your money! Love that precious room - can't wait to see what that sweet girl looks like!

Ah, Kacey! It looks so cute! I'm so impressed that you made her bedding! Love the fabric! What a sweet room for a sweet little girl! I'd better get started on Claire's, it's no where near that put together!

Love it, Kace! The colors you chose are perfect. That is the sweetest picture of Lila girl and Granny. :) She'll cherish that one day!
