Besides Christmas, Easter is my favorite holiday of the year! The beginning of beautiful Texas springtime, bluebonnets, Starburst jellybeans and most importantly, the promise of our risen Savior! To celebrate, my sister's and I throw an annual Easter party on Good Friday. This year Angie was due to have baby Brady any minute, so Caryn and I took over the reigns. We LOVE a good reason to party :)
We borrowed our friend Erica's bunny "Tiny" for the day. The kids loved him! Especially Lila!!! She sat at the table for about an hour that morning petting him while we were getting ready.
Some of our big kid guests helped several moms hide a few hundred eggs!
Serious egg hunting face on! Shocking that she was the first out the door :)
Can you believe it? The Easter Bunny came out to surprise the kiddos!

Caroline was actually napping during most of the hunt, so Lila was thrilled to have her picture taken with her special friend Ainsley!
Now those babies are up...and so happy to see the Easter Bunny!
Caroline wasn't too sure of all the activity going on in her backyard, but after a quick juice fix with Honey, she was ready to go.
Such a fun day! Great start to the Easter weekend!
