Spring Break

This year for Spring Break we had a little Stayation.  (a word that I shouldn't have taught to Lila...as she told strangers everywhere we went all week...:)  First disclaimer, I really did try to have something fun to go do every day!  (Hobby Lobby is fun right?)  Second one is, I let the girls pick out their own clothes all week.  They usually get to pick on Monday and Friday, but a whole week of free choice was enough to thrill my girls.  Hence the swimsuit cover ups and leg warmers!

So the first weekend we booked a room at a hotel here in town.  Little Miss ready to hit the pool!

We had so much fun swimming for the first time this year.  Unfortunately, I have had pregnancies at totally different times of year in the past, so I didn't really have a great maternity suit.  There is a reason I'm not in any of these pics ;)  Yowza!!

Daddy went and got take out for dinner!

Sleeping together in the same bed!!!  The next morning we learned that Caroline might not be the best sleeping buddy.  She did just learn to sleep in a bed a couple months ago?  OOPs!

Another fun thing about hotels...we get to jump on the beds!!!

A different day, we did a little science experiment with Daddy.  Mentos and coke!  So fun!

Before the park, they requested all pink and sock buns?!  I mean how precious are those tiny buns?

New outfits for some old Build a Bear friends.

 LOTS of playing outside!

We got out all our Easter decorations...including these two bunnies!

Lila got to have a sleepover with Ally.  The whole time they were gone on to Disney, an actual vacation...She would ask how many days til they get back?  I think she was just a little excited!

Painting flower pots for spring!

Our awesome neighbors heated their pool for the weekend, so we got to go swimming again!  All in all it was just the perfect Spring break for a 8 month preggers mommy.  I kept reminding myself, enjoy playing with them as much as possible, because in a few short weeks life will be a lot different :)
