Happy Halloween 2011

O-C-T-O-B-E-R...Halloween is a Candy Bar. Christopher Columbus is a holiday.  Fall is here and winter is on the way.  BRRRR!!  Lila and I have been singing this song for what feels like, forever!  That's because last week was filled with a month's amount of activities.  I tried to pick just a couple of pics from each event, but I apologize for the massive post :)

We started Halloween week with a visit to the pumpkin patch.  Out of like 30 pictures, this was the only one where they both look happy at the same time!

The next day was Lila's dance class.  She takes ballet from Jenni Holly.  She LOVES the friends in this class.  A whole other post is necessary for me to rave about how much we love it!  The premier of Ariel Mermaid :)

That afternoon, we went to Suzanne's house to play and paint some pumpkins.  She chose pink, of course!

The cutie pies with their mom's monogrammed pumpkins.

Friday we had our playgroup over to celebrate in costume.  This was the best photo I got.  Sadly, it's missing several friends.

Sweet red head and sister! That night was the Fall Festival at our church.  We made it a family event and turned into...wait for it...

...an under the sea family.  King Triton, Ursula, Sebastian and Ariel!  I think this is my favorite picture of Lila.  The excitement just shows in her face.  Josh definitely wins best Daddy award for allowing me to mesh "the Situation" with Gandolf the wizard to create King Triton.  :):):)

The Purdy cousins ready to go! Beautiful ballerina, croc hunters with their prey, and a little league city champ.

I like to think Caroline and Crew are thinking, "You look so ridiculous man".

Playing games at the festival.

Saturday we got to go to the Cooney Pumpkin Patch where the kids got to literally pick their own pumpkins and play, play, play.  Lila had a blast!

Finally, it was Monday night, real Halloween.  By then Ariel was sick of her wig :) Can you blame her?  I did a terrible job getting pictures that night? We went trick or treating with some friends who just moved into Hunter's Run.  Lila loving running around and getting candy.  What's not to love?

Caroline just loved being outside and riding in the wagon.

The Smith family was at the party too, so we walked around with them.  The big kids were asking to go home an get a drink, so we called it quits.  Oh what a fun night!

Ah... I am tired just writing all this!  Thanks for reading!
