Caroline is 5 months!

Caroline Caprice is 5 months old!!!  How is time flying so fast!!!  Before I know it we will be celebrating her first birthday :(  As you can see from the picture she is still a healthy piece of a princess pie!

I had to include Lila's pic just for comparison.  Crazy how much they look alike!!  Caroline definitely has more hair, but just about everything else looks the same.  Can't wait to see if they look different as she gets older?

We don't go to the Dr. until 6 months, so I don't know stats.

  • She is wearing clothes anywhere from 6-9 months.  Really long bodied.

  • She is in size 3 diapers!  (Really squishy:)

  • She still nurses great about 6 times a day.
  • She (for the first time last night) slept from 7:30-3:30!  We'll take it. That's way better than the 3-4 hour stretches she was doing before.  We aren't swaddling her anymore and I think it's helping her sooth herself back to sleep?

  • She still likes the pacifier if she's really upset, but does well with just her fingers on her own.  I bet we slowly take it away next month so she doesn't get dependent on it?  Lila sort of just quit wanting hers, so hopefully Caroline will do the same.

  • She can roll from her tummy to back, but not from back to tummy.  She doesn't just lie still though. She sort of moves herself around like a clock.  She will be facing a totally different direction after about 5 min??

  • Her favorite activities are: watching Lila and Cooper, playing on her play mat, sitting in the exersaucer, talking...loudly, and being outside.

  • We started rice cereal this month and she is starting to get the hang of it.  She has started grabbing everything, so getting the spoon in her mouth is interesting!  More of it gets on us and her than in her tummy, but hey, she's learning;)

She is in one of my favorite phases.  Way more active and engaged, but can't crawl and get into everything yet!  I am so blessed that God picked me to raise this beautiful, joyful, happy girl.  Love you Caroline!
