Sad News
This weekend I had a miscarriage. I know most of you didn't even know I was pregnant. It was a sweet surprise just about a week ago. Josh and I are devastated that this baby was taken from us so soon, before we could meet and hold him or her. It is so hard to understand why stuff like this happens. We are finding comfort in the promise that God is holding us and will keep us strong to the end. This song by Natalie Grant reminds me of that promise. Thank you for praying for us during this sad time.

Oh Kacey! I am so sorry! It is a hard thing to understand. Nick and I experienced that two years ago this March. Never knowing what could have been for your little baby is so hard! I will pray for you and Josh.

Kacey I am so sorry to hear about this. You and Josh are in my prayers. Only God knows what His plans are for us and we must continually trust Him even in the hard times.
Kacey, we are so very sorry to this news. Our journey to our baby girl was not an easy one, but we knew God was in control. He will never give us more than we can handle. We're praying for you, Josh, and Lila!

I can't begin to know the sadness you are feeling right now. However, I believe that our Lord God needed that precious soul to touch your life and then be gone for His mighty plan to be fulfilled. So many questions we are left with, but faith is trusting in what we do not know, and what we can not see! You will be in my continual prayers in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes on Christ Jesus and He alone will fill you.
Just know you are being covered in prayer and loved from all over! (even here in Allen!) I love the song you posted. I know it is such an encouragement during this time.

Sorry to hear that. I pray God wraps his arms around you and Josh through this and you will be blessed with another child when the time is right. We can't always understand God's plans, but we have to believe they are divine!
