Hairy Times!

Today I was fixing Lila's hair and I had crazy thought. Not only did she sit still while I did it, she kept insisting "bow...bow" knowing it wasn't done until the crowning bow went on top. I hope I am not creating a monster and promise we talk about being smart and sweet WAY more than pretty. I am really not a superficial person, but I couldn't help thinking ahead to the many hair moments we would have together in the future!
  • All the mornings before school
  • French braids for sports
  • Cutting her own hair in art class and me trying to fix it!
  • Crying after choosing to cutting bangs in Jr. High
  • Getting Prom updos then taking it down and up again
  • Wedding photos and wedding day!!!!
I know I am getting way ahead of myself, but these are some of the small precious moments I pray I get to share with my sweet daughter. For memory's sake and because I am feeling like time is flying too fast, I thought I would take a look back through Lila's hair history:)

Moments after she arrived in the world!! Dark Black and SO much!

A few weeks later it decided to stand straight up and seemed even longer!

At about 4 months it was thinning and Lila got her first hair cut!

Then it got so much lighter. Almost an auburn reddish brown.

After Christmas it seemed to grow several inches making her look like a big girl!

Today here we are with our big girl pig tales!

Don't know where all that time went? Lila Lew you have gotten so big! I don't care what your hair looks like, I will love you no matter what!!

Those piggies are adorable. I can't imagine doing all that fun stuff with a little girl. I hope my little girl asks for the bow, Lila!
