She is so sweet! Or is she...? This past weekend Josh and I flew to Lubbock to visit his family. (Pictures coming soon). In this short weekend I discovered that Lila has sucked out my brain! I mean literally, my brain is made of mush! I have heard some women say that while they were breast feeding they felt a little scatter brained, but I think I have really lost it. First, when we got to the airport I realize I had forgotten my wallet. That means no money and no ID. The people of southwest airlines felt so sorry for this crazy lady that they let me fly with only a Blockbuster card! On the plane I realized I had the camera, but no memory card. I packed the same black boots that I tried on not once, but twice to discover they were too small. I made a special trip to my Nana's to bring her a birthday present only to forget the ear rings! While I was there I lost my mother in laws keys. I also forgot one of Lila's feedings! ( I mean not forever, just one hour late thanks to her crying:( Thank God for babies instincts). I forgot several items of clothing for both Josh and myself. To top it off, today I mailed all of our bills without the stamps on them!!! Before baby I was a list making, multi-tasking, never forget a birthday kid of gal. Those days are gone, but it is so worth it :)

I completely agree!!! And I am not sure it comes back 100% even after you quit nursing!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is hilarious... because i can totally relate! :)
Oh Kacey...it WILL get better but that really is pretty funny! It was so good to see yall over the weekend! Lila is so precious...even if she has turned your brain into mush:)
You're funny :) And I love that picture of Lila.
I was talking to Nana today and Stacey overheard me say Lila. He was VERY adamant that he wanted to talk on the phone to Lila. I explained it wasn't her and she really wasn't quite ready to talk on the phone yet. He said "Aw Man, I really wanted to talk to her." wonder what he wanted to tell her? - Pretty cute :)
oh Kacey that's hilarious. What a sweet pic of little L. It IS worth it but I can totally relate to the forgetfulness. Once you are sleeping a bit more some of it will come back...but unfortunately some is gone for good!:-)
hilarious!! :) we can all relate. I will say that after a while you will get back to your list making self (take it from me), but the forgetfulness sticks to you like glue!
I can SO totally relate....I can't tell you the things I've lost or forgotten! We went to Kansas and I left my shoes....had to stop at the mall when we got there to buy some....I've left bottles....forgot to put the base of the carseat in the car for Brandon and he was stuck at home.....you name it!! It's just different being responsible for someone else! It does get better...she's SO cute!!
