Yesterday was a day of firsts for our little girl. We went back to church for the first time! We go to Houston's First Baptist Church and we love it! Greg Matte is our preacher and we have been missing hearing him teach while we have been out. Lila is too little for the nursery (not that I want her in there yet...talk about germs!!) so that means she would have to come to big church with us. I timed her feedings where she would be okay, but I was worried she would want to "talk"all throughout the service. She loves riding in the car and falls right to sleep. We just took her in her carrier in and she slept the entire service! Way to go girl!
Later that day we went to Brenham to meet Josh's parents for dinner. They live in Lubbock and were in Austin for a conference. They couldn't stand being that close and not seeing her. So.. we put her in the car where she fell right to sleep again. She did good at the restaurant and then slept all the way home. After all that extra sleep I'm thinking ..(we are going to be up all night)...right?
Wrong! Lila slept through the night for the first time last night! 11:00 -6:30! And the crowd goes wild!
Here is my sweetheart waking up in her bassinet. Her hair had a party, but it seems like this girl just needed a little beauty sleep:) Now we'll see if it ever happens again.

Way to go little Lila!!! that is awesome:)
Yay for sleeping through the night! Tyler normally sleeps from 11:00 - 6:00 now which is wonderful! He also hasn't gone into the church nursery yet so we take him to big service and sit in the back with all the other parents with babies. LOL! Don't you love how they wake up in such a good mood in the mornings? Lila looks so happy! That's my favorite time for Tyler....a drenched diaper and a fabulous mood!
WOW that is AMAZING!! What a treat for you! So glad the day was a success and that you got a full night (at least in baby terms) of sleep. Here's hoping she does it again tonight.
Congrats!! Katie started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks and never looked back!! It is possible!
Yea for sleep!! At least with my kids the phrase "sleep begets sleep" was true- the more they got, the more they wanted. :) Good naps generally mean a good night. I SO hope she stays a good sleeper for you!
Lila looks so adorable. It is the best thing when they wake up with a smile on there face. Brooklyn has that same little Polo sleeper. It is so soft.
A good night's sleep makes all the difference! Yea little Miss Lila for being so good for mommy and daddy. To have a day/night like that can really recharge your battery.
