Christmas 2012

l
As the girls and I got out our Valentine's decor today, I realized I need to try to get caught up on the blog from Christmas!  This year we were in Lubbock for actual Christmas Eve and Christmas day. The girls LOVE to go to Shallowater and visit Cha Cha, Grumps, the StClairs, Granny and all the extended family we get to see.  The day we got there we had a delicious feast.  Presley had asked Cha Cha whe we never have a turkey with the little poofs on the ends, so like an awesome grandmother, she made a "real" turkey! Sweet cousins!

The next day we went to church and heard Aunt Rox sing, ate some more yummy food, slept and opened presents from all the different families.  Cha Cha wanted the kids to have more time to play with their new toys.  Great idea!

sweet sisters :)

What is it?

A real fish bowl, for a real fish, we would get at home and later name Hannah the fish.  (Not to be confused with our friend Hannah the human, as Lila now calls her).

The five that will soon become six!

My sweet little girls and Daddy wrapped my gifts extra special this year!

LOVE my Mackenzie Childs Canisters!

We wrapped a big box of bowls for Daddy. ???

Taped to the bottom were Tech bowl tickets!  Surprise!  SO fun :)

Caroline entertaining as usual.

A new tradition that Justin and Josh started was taking the whole family to Main Event for some bowling and games on Christmas Eve.  Nothing says Happy Birthday Jesus like disco bowling!

We got home and dipped oreos in chocolate for Santa.

Played a little school.

Opened one more present from Cha Cha.  Footie pjs, popcorn and hot chocolate!  Ready for movie night!!

First, ring around the rosie.

Wrote our letter to Santa and went to bed!

Christmas morning we woke up to a big girl bike and a big girl trampoline!

...and a white Christmas!

I didn't get any pictures of our Birthday party for Jesus or our time in Crosbyton with all Josh's extended family that day.  We had a really wonderful Christmas and are so thankful for the gift of Jesus so we can celebrate with all our family we love!
