This year Valentines day was so fun! Lila is ALL about a holiday or any special occasion. I can't imagine where she get's that? I am not one of those who thinks this is just a Hallmark holiday, or you shouldn't be forced to tell people you love them on one particular day. I eat. it. up! In our typical fashion we celebrated for the whole week. The girls had to miss their mdo Valentine exchange bc they were sick...so, sweet Daddy brought home some special Valentine cookies to decorate. Crafts mixed with food...Lila was in heaven :)
For actual Valentine's day the girls got some new books, toothbrushes and some pink roses from Daddy.
Josh and Lila went on a very special Daddy/Daughter date night to Chick fil A. Precious!! Something about her in these pictures just looks so grown up!
For our grown up date we got a babysitter and went to a delicious dinner and the symphony. This year we joined the concerto circle in town. It's a group of young married professionals that get together before the symphony for dinner and drinks. It was so fun to have a yummy catered dinner and not fight the restaurant crowd.
