"Oh Midway High..."

..."How we love you"!  A few weeks ago I had my 10 year high school reunion!  Most days I think, there is no way I'm that old, but after going...I feel like it was a lifetime ago!  My sweet hubby was scheduled to go to Lubbock for a guys weekend to watch the Tech/UT game.  I figured he would have way more fun there than shaking hands with a bunch of people he doesn't know, so I braved it alone.

Friday night was the Midway Homecoming game.  The new stadium was NICE!!  Us old folks had a section down in the end zone saved for us. 

Lila LOVED the game (as you can see below). I think she thought the bleachers were her very own jungle gym! She played so hard that by half time we had to scoot and get to bed.  I was sad to miss out on seeing more people who went to George's after the game, but pregnant lady with child+ smokey bar doesn't really work.

Four of my closest friends from HS couldn't be there because of baby, wedding, vacation and living out of state.  Luckily Shawnna and Annesa and I were able to represent proudly:)  We went to Sam's on the Square before hand.  Loved catching up with these girls.

 

The actual reunion was at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.  It was fun seeing so many faces from the past.  Surprisingly, I still recognized most even without name tags!  Here is one of the only pictures I took of the night.  Had fun catching up with these sweet girls.  

 

My overall description of the night is...

Weird!

That's the best way to describe it ,but I am very glad that I went. (Even 7 mts. pregnant and dateless:)
