This past weekend we were planing on going to lake LBJ with the Warren side of the fam when we got news that Josh's Granny fell and broke her pelvis. Of course we decided to go and visit with her instead. We LOVE a good Lubbock weekend :) This top picture is Lila Lew helping me pack (with her first pair of pig tails)!! So sweet.
My Nana lives in Lubbock and we were so excited to go visit her!! It has been way to long.
Lila did her best to show Nana all of her new tricks; crawling backwards, rolling across the room, laughing at herself and a new tooth!! (That has made the past week interesting:)
Granny was doing so much better than she should have been! Can you imagine just sitting on a broken pelvis! Lila helped distract from the yuckiness of the rehab hospital. We are glad to report that she out and at home with the Warrens.
While we were there we also got to celebrate Cha Cha's birthday! Grumps planned a party for the grandkids. He couldn't decide which cake she would like best, so he got 2. So sweet:)
Mia, Lila, Blaine and Presley helped blow out the candles. They couldn't wait to eat some cake!!
That night we got a sitter so we could go have some grown up time:) We had a yummy dinner at Las Brisas. It was so fun to see everyone with out screaming, diaper changes, tantrums, and high chairs. We had a great time visiting LBK and are so glad to be in driving distance now!! See you soon for Willie!

Sad you guys didn't get to be at the lake, but it looks like a great weekend. Makes me miss Nana!! Lila has a tooth!?!?! I am sure that has been thrilling, but at least you know all the drooling and fussing are for a purpose, I mean you gotta have teeth :) Can't wait to see you guys in a week.
Lila is so darn cute. How bad was the teething? Brooklyn hasn't starting teething yet, but she did start STANDING up in her crib. They are amazing little people when they learn something new.
